Emergency Responder Solutions Announces the Rerelease of Key Propane Mitigation Tools
Emergency Responder Solutions (ERS) is pleased to announce the rerelease of several proven products designed specifically for Firefighters and Hazardous Materials personnel. These tools support safe, efficient mitigation of propane and related LPG incidents, helping properly trained First Responders manage overfilled, damaged, or leaking cylinders in the field.
The following products are once again available:
1011/1075 Mini-Flare
A compact, portable flare system built for small-scale flaring of propane (UN 1075) and butane (UN 1011) in response operations. Its low-profile design and straightforward setup make it well-suited for quick deployment on common lab or cylinder incidents, allowing responders to safely reduce product volume or pressure when conditions call for controlled combustion.
1011/1075 Adapter Kit
A complementary set of adapters engineered for compatibility with the Mini-Flare and related systems. These fittings enable secure connections to the most common propane and butane cylinder valves and configurations encountered by HazMat teams, reducing setup time and improving operational flexibility during mitigation.
Propane QRF (Quick Reaction Fitting) Kit
The Propane QRF System provides a rapid solution for overfilled or damaged propane cylinders. The kit centers on the Propane QRF Adapter paired with a preconnected recovery tank (5 lb standard; 20 lb optional). Once attached, it supplies additional expansion volume via a secondary Pressure Relief Valve while also supporting product transfer or flaring. It works effectively with ERS Yellow Jacket Flare Systems to address cylinders up to 100 pounds.
